Yes - You have to present your valid OHIP Health Card OR Provincial Health Card at every medical visit.
For patients without a valid OHIP Health Card or Out-Of-Province Quebec residents, a minimum $100+ medical visit FEE is required to be paid prior to being assessed by a doctor.
The FEE is refundable within 60 days of the medical visit ONLY when you present BOTH a valid OHIP Health Card for the date the visit was conducted and the original receipt.
Out-Of-Country residents will be charged a minimum of $200+ Non-Refundable FEE per medical visit.
There are several services that are not covered by OHIP - for example: sick or doctor notes, travel advice, various medical forms, etc. Please see our complete list of Non-OHIP covered services HERE or speak with one of our staff for additional information.
Yes - Our facility is wheel-chair accessible.
Walk-In & Urgent Care
Yes - Our Urgent Care Clinic is offered as a Walk-In service.
The Urgent Care Clinic does not provide Complete Yearly Physicals.
The Urgent Care Clinic is for Walk-In Patients only - It is not a Family Practice. Therefore, we reserve the right to defer any medical treatment, prescription, or completion of medical forms.
Our Urgent Care Clinic doctors will NOT offer prescriptions renewals for narcotics, sedative-hypnotics, or stimulants to any walk-in patients. Such medications include but are not limited to the following: Oxycontin, Percocet, Percodan, Tylenol 2 & 3, Benzodiazepines, Ritalin, Adderall, etc.
Narcotic medications are NOT KEPT on-site.
Please note that our wait times vary depending on the number of patients and their medical concerns.
Depending on our daily patient volume, patient registration may end 30-60 minutes prior to the posted closing hours.
COVID-19 & Virtual Care
All patients must wear a mask or face-covering during in-person appointments.
All patients and guests will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms before entering the clinic.
All in-clinic persons must keep a distance of 2 meters apart other than during a necessary physical exam.
We maintain extremely high cleanliness & disinfectant standards as per current recommendations for COVID-19 prevention and management.
Yes - If you are immunocompromised OR at an increased risk for severe illness from the virus that causes COVID-19 and would prefer a telephone appointment instead of an in-person visit, please call us to arrange this.
Alternatively, if you have a scheduled appointment, but prefer to avoid an in-person clinic visit, please don't cancel your appointment - call us to discuss the possibility of a phone visit instead.
